Meet Dr. Victoria WangMiller
It gives me great satisfaction to have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. It is exciting to be an integral part of clients’ journeys to healthy, beautiful mouths. To be able to relieve pain and fear of procedures is extremely rewarding. Having patients of all ages look forward to coming to their visits, knowing that we care about them as people and that we support them in attaining the level of oral health that they desire, is a goal of mine.
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science in biology – University of Washington, 1986
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Washington School of Dentistry, 1990
Staying current with advances in dentistry is critical for continuing to provide the best care for our clients. We always want the best, most reliable, and longest-lasting treatment for people while finding the balance between health, strength, function, and aesthetics. Attending continuing education classes, reading, and keeping in touch with my colleagues is essential to keeping abreast of the changes in our profession, and it also keeps life exciting!

Our Team
Our team is exceptional in that many of us have worked together for more than 20 or 30 years. In addition to placing high importance on technical excellence, we value the intricacies of listening and communicating, and actively challenge ourselves through workshops and continuing education. Our team has a bond of respect and caring for each other that clients can feel when they visit. We are ready to walk the journey to health, and support our clients in every way.
Outside the Office
I grew up on the west side of Washington and, in 1990, I fell in love with the desert when my husband Dale brought me to Yakima. Dale and I met in dental school and got married in 1989, a year before we graduated. We have two sons, Gavin and Kyle, who are our pride and joy. Completing our family are Shadow and Kona, chocolate labs who keep me company during cross-country skiing and hiking adventures.
I can be found at Cowiche Canyon multiple times per week, riding my mountain bike and walking the dogs. Jazzercise has been my staple form of exercise for more than fifteen years—I love it! Exercising outdoors with my family and friends, making jewelry, watching movies, and eating are some of my favorite pastimes!
In the Community
Being involved in the community enriches my life and gives me the opportunity to share my skills. I volunteer at the clinics of the Union Gospel Mission and YVCC Dental Hygiene School, at Sealant Day for Children’s Dental Health month, and at the Veteran’s Health Fair. I have done presentations at elementary schools and at YVCC. Our office also participates in seeing children through the ABCD program.
I’m currently on the board of the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy, which serves to protect, preserve, and manage undeveloped lands for our enjoyment and recreation. The conservancy enriches the community by hosting lectures, field trips, community hikes, and citizen science projects throughout the year.
